Hi there! Welcome to my website. I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher for the NSF Office of Polar Programs. I work at the Space Science Institute — they’re in Boulder, Colorado, but I’m in Cleveland, Ohio most of the time.
This page is still in a draft state. Expect to see some changes.
My work and research
I’m interested in how open-source hardware can broaden participation and accelerate progress in science and engineering. I explored this in my dissertation work with HamSCI.
I’m also interested in using virtual reality, sonification and other immersive tools to explore scientific data.
My communities
I’m an active alumna at CWRU, particularly through the CWRU Film Society and the Case Amateur Radio Club.
I enjoy sailing on Lake Erie and scuba diving with the CWRU SCUBA club. I am always looking for new SCUBA buddies.
I am a member of the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists.
